Sirubari is a pristine Gurung settlement in the Syangja district, famously recognized as Nepal’s first model tourist village. Located southwest of Pokhara at 1,700 meters, it is a pioneer of community-based homestay tourism, offering an authentic immersion into rural life and vibrant Gurung heritage.

Recipient of the PATA Gold Award in 2001, Sirubari is celebrated for its exceptional neatness, stone-paved trails, and warm hospitality. The village is nestled on a south-facing slope, providing sunny days and breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
