I began in Pokhara, taking a motorbike to Banthanti, above Ulleri, though rain made the off-road slippery. From Banthanti, I trekked 1.5–2 hours to AAMA Cottage (2717m) via steep steps that soon eased into a forest path. After resting, I continued 2–3 hours through Doya Ple and Tutan to Kokhe Danda (3309m), reaching APA Cottage at the top. The sunrise views were stunning. Rain and snow are possible; be prepared. Despite the effort, the peaceful trails, kind hospitality, and spectacular vistas were worth it.
Just a few hours of ride followed by just a few hours of hike will take you to this highest point of Parbat - Kokhe Dada, a hidden gem and yet the majestic place. Such a dreamy and magical journey it was. Still couldn’t believe of what i experienced. A cold breeze of snowfall welcomed us that made our trip even more exciting.
