Khumai is relatively cheaper considering the scenic beauties it offers. People have claimed to complete the whole trek in less than Rs.3,000 but we personally spent a little less than Rs.5,000 during this trek.
If you wanna save some money, take your own vehicle till Gachok.
Also take your own snacks and eat your dinner and lunch in the hotels over there.
You can save about Rs.1,000 to Rs.1,500 doing so.
A proper meal will cost you about Rs.500-Rs.600. Accommodation will cost you around Rs.1,500

Positive Review
This trek is very beginner-friendly and it is also cheap. There are proper accommodation facility up there and the trails are also marked properly.
Negative Review
Water is scarce up there. Also, it is hard to get network connection in Khumai. So prepare to get contactless for 2 days. 😆
Safety
Altitude Sickness Risk
I personally faced altitude sickness when I went there. I recommend you take ginner and garlic as a local remedy to altitude sickness. Also, please try not to eat any junk foods. Take fruits instead of junk foods.
